REAR CAMBER ADJUSTMENT BRACKETS | NISSAN | 300ZX Z31

If you have lowered your 300ZX Z31, you know that it will add negative camber (functionally too much negative camber), and from the factory there isn't a way to correct it.

You are left with few options, one could be drilling new holes in the outer lower control arm brackets but that may not correct the camber enough (in our case it was NOT enough to get us back to our target between 1/2 to 1 degree of negative camber).

Another option is to swap out your rear suspension completely for a full aftermarket suspension kit. While a great option, they are expensive and they usually require coilovers that add to the cost as well (they don't have the option to just use lowering springs) and still require some modifications. 

With our weld-on rear camber adjustment brackets you have 4 points of camber adjustment and retain the factory toe adjustment. The first camber adjustment point is about 1/2 a degree below the OEM mounting point. 

Then each hole is about 1 degree as you move the outer control arm mounting bolt down, allowing you to compensate after lowering your Z31 by adding roughly up to 3.5 degrees of positive camber. We also found on our Z31 that our camber angle wasn't even from driver to passenger side from the factory setup (it was a degree off from side to side). So when we added our brackets we were able to get them back within 1/10th of a degree side to side.

For installation, it will require the rear suspension to be removed. The outer control arm brackets will need to be cut off and the new brackets welded on. Please have a professional do the welding to ensure quality and strength of the welds. When you have your suspension off it's a great time to clean up, paint, replace seals, replace bearings, replace bushings, etc.
